Carl Driver

Biography
o Carl has been a Camgrain member since 1993 and on the Board since 1995 and most recently appointed Chairman in 2023
o Farms 2000ha of wheat, malting barley, milling oats, beans and OSR. This involves some owned land, FBT’s, contract farming and a joint venture agreement. The farm utilises a 12m controlled traffic farming system along with zero tillage practices and cover crops in a regenerative system. The business also runs SFI and CS schemes, as well as being in a carbon certificate scheme.
o Carl is a BASIS/FACTS professional agronomist and a member of the marketing committee.

Biography
After training as a solicitor I joined the family farm full-time in 2014. We are based in south-west Suffolk and farm 1000ha comprising owned and contract farmed land. We grow combinable crops and sugar beet. Our farming system utilises rotational cultivations where deemed necessary with direct-drilling being progressively introduced. We have countryside stewardship schemes on all of the land we farm.
Outside agriculture I enjoy running and cycling (having completed a few triathlons when I can find time to train!)

Simon Willis

Biography
o Simon joined Camgrain in 2017 with 25 years’ experience in a variety of Business Management roles, including leadership positions at Kingfisher, Total and most recently before joining Camgrain, with Certas Energy.
o He is a specialist in ‘Lean’ operations, supply chain management, strategy formation and delivery. He is NEBOSH qualified and has a degree in Business Management.

Dan Parrott

Biography
Having studied Countryside Management, Dan spent 6 years between arable and mixed farms to the North of Cambridge, he then spent a season at Halley Research Station in Antarctica, before joining Camgrain in 2012.
Dan has since worked in multiple operational roles, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise. Most recently leading the Operations department through a period of change, recognising significant operational efficiencies, whilst adding strategic infrastructure.
Overall, his leadership has strengthened Camgrain’s operational performance and future readiness.

Steven Atherton

Biography
Steve joined Camgrain in May 2023. After becoming ACA qualified at KPMG Steve spend 20 years in Investment Banking in London and Sydney in a variety of senior Finance roles. After stepping back from that space Steve spent three year as CFO at Europe's largest commercial thoroughbred stud farm before joining Camgrain

Biography
- Farms 355 Ha in South West Cambridgeshire, growing wheat, oilseed rape and occasionally peas, beans, spring barley and linseed. Joint owner of an airfield enterprise and two aircraft businesses.
Adam Driver

Biography
- Adam farms 2000ha in west Suffolk growing combinable crops in a joint various and various FBT and CFA agreements. A focus on low costs without sacrificing output with soil health at the heart of the system. Adam is a qualified BASIS agronomists and completed the worshipful company of farmers advanced course in agricultural business management in 2018

Biography
- We have a family farm near Warwick of about 300ha including land on FBT’s, contract farming and share farming agreements. Ours is a mixed farm with 250 breeding ewes, 200 beef cattle and we grow a variety of combinable crops. We also undertake contract work for neighbours. We store all our grain with Camgrain.

Andrew Maddever

oGrowing milling and group 4 wheat, malting and feed barley, oilseed rape, beans, human consumption peas, and milling oats across 1800 ha of owned, rented and profit sharing agreements, also some stubble to stubble arrangements and stewardship management.

Henry Reynolds

Biography
Henry divides his time more-or-less equally between his family’s 200Ha mixed farm in Northamptonshire, where he is helping chart a course in regenerative agriculture as the farm transitions between generations, and work as a professional engineer.
Henry held senior roles in automotive and agricultural engineering before he founded his own consultancy along with several other start-ups, where he undertakes work on a diverse range of projects from off-road vehicles to building novel superconducting magnets for high-end research.

Biography
o Hugh farms wheat and oilseed rape near Saffron Walden. He has been involved with Camgrain since it was established in 1983 and was Chairman of the Board for 14 years between 1991-2005.
